Tasting Notes Lovely raspberry and blackberry fruit, with a hint of mint, a suggestion of flowers and a note of reduction. The texture is surprisingly plump and round, and the wine lingers attractively on the finish. - DECANTER Charles Curtis MW - 10 Nov 2021 - Volnay Ier Cru 47° 0'8.40"N 4°47'25.76"E Discover the plot
Winemaking After sorting in the vineyard and in the winery, the grapes are directly put in tank, whole cluster. 30% this vintage. Cold pre-fermentation maceration is performed for 5 days. The spontaneous fermentation then starts. The grapes will stay in tank for roughly 3 weeks during alcoholic fermentation. The wine is then put in oak barrels by gravity (25% new oak) for 14 months. No fining is performed.
